Boundless Security Systems, Inc., makes wireless digital video surveillance using existing wide area wireless networks practical. Boundless' unique multi-diverse-stream, ultra low bandwidth architecture with distributed storage avoids flooding wireless networks with surveillance video.

Boundless makes city-scale, municipal-scale, metroscale, citywide, Wi-Fi, WiFi, mesh, 802.11g, 802.11a, WiMAX, EVDO, GSM, GPRS, satellite, wireless outdoor video surveillance with large numbers of cameras practical. Boundless is a privately held software company and value-added reseller. Boundless designs, final-assembles, markets and sells digital video security systems / digital video management systems / digital video surveillance systems. The Boundless Security System™ (patent pending) uniquely provides multiple different digital IP-video streams per camera that dramatically reduce wired and wireless network traffic, and improve: the quality and storage duration of recorded images, local and remote access to live and recorded images, and system reliability, survivability and Cyber security.

The Boundless Security System™ uses Boundless' proprietary software. The software runs on industry standard, x86 computers. Image acquisition, recording, and display on PC-compatible video monitors, are all provided using industry standard computers. The most-critical functions use the Linux operating system that Boundless has optimized for handling live video. Display functions use the Microsoft Windows operating system.

Boundless sells turn-key, Multi-Stream Video Servers with its software pre-installed and pre-configured on standard computers that Boundless has tested for performance and reliability. Boundless also licenses its proprietary software and procedures to OEM's. Boundless remotely configures and updates installed systems so that systems integrators and installers do not have to.

The Boundless Security System™ uses analog CCTV cameras and optionally, digital USB, SDTV standard-definition and HDTV+ high-definition, multi-mega-pixel cameras for video input. It uses Internet protocols to transport audio, video, event data, and control information digitally over local area networks and the Internet. It replaces analog video matrix switches, controllers, multiplexers and quad-processors, and digital video recorders. It replaces PC-based digital video surveillance systems, and IP-based, digital video security systems using network video recorders.

Boundless' Control Panel / Video Player client viewing and searching software is a portal for third-party software to access and display live/recorded audio/video/event data from multiple cameras, with multiple resolutions, frame rates and compression parameters, from multiple Boundless Multi-Stream Video Servers on multiple networks, simultaneously, on each PC.

A minimum configuration of the Boundless Security System™ uses one to four CCTV cameras for video input, one Boundless Multi-Stream Video Server, one Windows Pro PC running Boundless' Control Panel client viewing software, and a local area network with a connection to the Internet.
